Back to The Mountain

It's been almost 4 years since I finished my thru-hike on Katahdin. I haven't had the urge to go back til just recently. That was an emotional day at several levels - physically, spiritually, emotionally, mentally. It was also one of the most empowering and uplifting days of my life. How to revisit that area, that scene w/o diluting the experience? But alas, it's Katahdin, the Great Mountain, and it beckons. Oh, does it beckon....hard.
