Getting Closer

I have a scant 10 days left before I leave for my little Icelandic adventure. Thanks to a friend who is also traveling internationally for a hike (the GR20 in Corsica) around the same time, I've had a ready set of lists to go by and details already thought out by him. My pack is half packed, if it would stop raining in Maine I might be able to pack up my rain jacket and forgettaboutit, but no....another monsoon this weekend. I should buy a boat! Wait! I did buy a boat - a sweet 16.5 foot Perception Shadow sea kayak two weeks ago. Uh oh....more gear required. Photos to follow.
